08:11 AM ET 04.12 | As a retooled frontcourt of the future in Detroit draws raves, rookie center Andre Drummond has seen much of the ink. The spotlight grew brighter when he had 29 points and 11 rebounds in Wednesday's 111-104 victory over the Cavaliers. But the biggest adjustment comes from Drummond's frontcourt partner, Greg Monroe. Nearing the end of his third season and still only 22, Monroe is adjusting to power forward after spending his entire career at center. After Wednesday's 23-point, eight-rebound, four-assist night, he is averaging 19.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists over the past five games. It makes Monroe eager for the summer (after a few weeks of rest), where he can really learn power forward in earnest.

This guy can really help a contending team. He is a very good peace on a good team. Too bad he is with the Pistons. Now there is a coach they should fire.

I think we may have the start of something with Monroe and Drummond but we need a scoring wing. Come on basketball GOD's give us the Number 1 pick so we can get this McLemore kid.

Need a new coach. I'd like the see them replace Stuckey for a SG who can shoot and slash.

Detroit isn't messing around. Those two are going to change the win column...

Detroit, Cleveland and Washington... All Eastern Conference cellar dwellers with some big time young talent... Those teams are going to turn it around very soon
