08:20 AM ET 04.12 | Is the T-Magic back? [In Tim Beck's offense last fall, Taylor Martinez] made huge strides, as he completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,871 yards and 23 touchdowns. And while he did toss 12 interceptions, his ability to shake off his mistakes and rally his team in the second half helped lead the Cornhuskers to an eventual spot in the Big Ten title game. ... [Entering] his second season in Beck's offense, Martinez is poised to build off of a career year and lead what should be one of Nebraska's most exciting offenses in years. And a lot of the damage is expected to be done through the air, which is a far cry from how the Huskers moved the ball when Martinez first won the starting gig in 2010.

Only out of desperation!

Is the newfound emphasis on the air game why that RB transferred to UKy? Nah.

I think you will see more passing in the B1G this year. TSUN switches to a West Coast style of offense, Wisconsin will open it up more due their coaching change, the COC have several playmakers at the wide receiver position, and even my beloved Spartans will be throwing it more. Although in our case, it probably is more of necessity than desire. We don't have the big back to carry the load this year.

Their Nebs a B1G force in 2013? Bring on the season!
