08:29 AM ET 04.12 | Heading into this season, and during its lockout-shortened start, Alex Ovechkin was thought by many to be a lost cause -- then along came Adam Oates. "He sees the personal side," Ovechkin said of Oates. "He give me lots of attention. We look at the video, we look at everything to help my game grow. Especially when he move me to right side. It was pretty hard time, but now I get used to it." ... [Said Oates:] "I didn't like [coaches who were screamers]. I showed up for work. So teach me. Help me. If you don't like me tonight, that's your opinion. You're the boss. I respect authority. But teach me. Don't just [expletive] say, 'Do that.' Right?" Right.

Unfortunately, someone has to win that division.

And in 6 fewer games than #2. Aty a point per game pace (just like the injure Letang).

The future Norris winner PK Chelios that's who.

Respectable +/- as well.
