02:57 PM ET 04.12 | Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul sustained a concussion last week, according to head coach Randy Carlyle on Friday afternoon. Lupul sustained the injury in the first period of last Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers when he was hit by Adam Hall and Jay Rosehill. He was dazed after the play and struggled to get back to the bench. Lupul was able to participate in practice with the team for the first time since the injury but has not been cleared for contact. The head coach stated that Lupul is close to a return.
