Dustin Johnson finds a way to lose another Major

05:10 PM ET 04.13 | Dustin Johnson had the lead briefly at -7 under par during the second round of the 2013 Masters on Friday, but once again found a way to lose six strokes in the last five holes. Oh, by the way, he did make one par at the par 3 16th hole. Dustin made a mess at the par five 15th, (the same hole Tiger Woods took a snowman), and figured a way to double bogey the par four 18th. He made normal bogeys at 14, and 17, and on a day where he had it all going, it all went away. Johnson also had a couple of bogeys early during the rain, at the first and third holes. His day ended with a four over par 76 for his second round, and a tie at 19th place at -1 under for a total. Dustin Johnson blew a final round lead at the 2010 U.S. Open that was eventually won by Graeme McDowell. He also made an error a couple of months later when he lost to Martin Kaymer at Whistling Straights at the 2010 PGA Championship. He grounded his club in what turned out to be one of hundreds of sand hazards on the golf course. He was assessed a penalty, and eventually ended tied at the end of regulation play. He lost in the playoff to Kaymer.

Johnson may have 'found a way to lose', but I'm sure he'll make more than Les Bailey did writing this blog... Funny how the power of the pen (or keyboard) makes you sound as if you could have done better.

If only he had someone to comfort him...

Wish I could get paid to be a dewsh...

But obviously it requires years of training.

Guess we know where you stand on that one Rex :-)

And yes, congrats to TaylorMadeR7 for his pick!

I was feeling pretty good about my chances, until Snedeker missed the gimme on 10 and was never able to recover.

Congrats go out to Adam Scott, Australia and TaylorMadeR7.

Thank you eveybody and thank you Rex for letting me participate.

I would like to celebrate my win by ACTUALLY playing golf, but since I live in Ontario it won't be until July

Jesus what an infantile comment to make. There are tons of guys who find ways not to win tournaments. Johnson doesn't deserve a finger pointed at him for his play. I never cease to be amazed at fools who write a column and haven't got a clue what they are writing about.

Les Bailey should do us all a favor and stick to blogging about car racing. It's pretty obvious that he is the weakest of amateurs when it comes to giving out opinions on golf.

Stay home Les, before you hurt yourself.

I knew people would cry about the putter. Please give me a break. If you are the ones who cry about it, have you watched adam scott in recent years? Did you see all the missed putts last year at the open? Did you see his round yesterday? If he hadnt have had so many lipped putts, he woulda won by 6 or 7 strokes. He won bc of his ball striking. If you wont the belly putter gone, then whatever, but it didnt contribute to him winning yesterday. He should throw it away bc in my opinion it makes him a worse putter. Not better. Def not better. Think about it

The long putter has to go. In Baseball , Hockey , Lacrosse the instrument of the sport is a specified size. The Putter in golf should have a maximum size.
