09:30 AM ET 04.14 | A man died of a "self-inflicted injury" following a verbal altercation in the infield during the NRA 500 Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday night, police said. Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracey Knight didn't specify how the man died, and said he was believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s. She said alcohol may have been a factor in the incident, which occurred late in the Sprint Cup race. Knight did not identify the man and wasn't sure of the man's relationship with others involved in the altercation. Several people witnessed the incident, but nobody was in danger, Knight said.

I would bet it was a gun shot death with alchohol factors.......they are probably not mentionning it so as not to heat up the gun debate issues and have it negatively impact the track.
If that is the case, then keeping the details scarce is a good idea.....this is a race track....not a political forum.

Eliminate guns so people can't shoot themselfs.......it might just work, and while where at it maybe we ought to tear down all the tall buildings and bridges so people can't jump off them.

The government should allow for legal assisted suicide in every state. If someone wants to end their life they should have the right to do so. Not everyone has religious hangups and once you get over that fairy tale stuff you become a clear thinker and it is your life.
Wonder what would happen to our health care problems if folks that are done are allowed to end their life rather than being kept alive in some Alzheimer home as a vegetable?

Notice I used the work 'allow' not 'provide'.

Guns are just the quickest way, there should be alternatives. Regulating guns would be akin to trying to stop the wind, total waste of time.

On a lighter note, man what a stupid place to end your life, what a puttz.
