11:46 AM ET 04.14 | If the last-place L.A. Angels, who visit the Twins for three games beginning Monday, continue to slide, don't be surprised if Tony La Russa takes over as manager. La Russa, 68, retired in 2011 after leading the St. Louis Cardinals to the World Series championship.

Is he going to pitch? Fix Weaver's arm? Hamilton's head?

He would be a great drinking buddy.

Dear God I hope not. I'm so sick of Mr. I'm Perfect. Please just stay in the Old Coaches Home where you belong Tony.

Go ahead. Best manager in AL. Teams will be lining up for Scosicia. For example, Nats would love to see him available when Davey retires at the end of this year.

He's retired. Scosicia isn't going anywhere. Please stop.

If LaRussa wanted to manage he wouldn't have left St L.

It would be an interesting article...except for the fact that you are right.

While Scosicia might be shown the door, LaRussa ain't coming back. Bud Black isn't going anywhere, but, there is more likelyhood of Bud Black returning to the Angels than LaRussa coming in.
And if Scosicia does go....move out Donnie Ballgame in LA.

The whole west coast just threw up in unison upon reading that.

Maybe Phil Jackson can coach the Angels.
