12:18 AM ET 04.15 | Chris Andersen was a late season addition for the Miami Heat, but he's served as a great role playing big man off the bench. Things have gone smoothly for The Birdman, and in games that he has played the Heat have gone 36-3. Of course, there's a few other players on that team that may have attributed to that, but his addition to the front court hasn't gone unnoticed. Andersen credits the organization for allowing him to be the player that he is, which has inspired him to work harder.

Chris Anderson was a gift from God for this Miami Heat squad. Remember when the only topic being discussed on ESPN was the one regarding Miami's rebounding issues. Ever since Birdman came in, whenever Miami is discussed it's always about winning. They couldn't have asked for a better effort. Although I will admit, a backup PF-signing of Kenyon Martin over Juwan Howard would've been more to my liking.
