07:51 AM ET 04.15 | Losing Kobe Bryant doesn't get a whole lot bigger for the Lakers or the league -- or even Doc Rivers. [Rivers] was admittedly troubled by the sight of Bryant curled up on the floor. He was also buoyed by Bryant's ability to go to the line and hit two free throws before leaving for the locker room. "That was hard. I made it home in time to actually witness that, and it was hard to watch," the Celtics coach said before [their win over Orlando]. ... "My players are my favorite, but if I had another (favorite) it would be Kobe. I just love his heart. Heck, I love the fact that he got up and made two free throws with a torn Achilles. If it happened to me, I would have been lying on the floor crying like a baby."

Yes I would not recommend him as a father or leader but compared to other human beings like Hitler, Dennis Rodman and Margaret Thatcher he's an angel. So let's take the good with the bad and wish him well. We're are all either good or bad depending on what the comparisn is.

Not working Fanatic. You gotta do better than that. I hope Kobe don't get amnestied that way the Lakers will be in a big hole.

No memory is worse for me than remembering Doc Rivers blowing out both his ACL's while wearing a Knicks uniform. Talk about an insane injury.

Actually, putting Kobe Bryant with Hitler and Dennis Rodman makes sense. Add Ray Lewis to the list, too.
