08:00 AM ET 04.15 | As Auburn's coaches spend the next few days breaking down film, their fans can look forward to Saturday's A-Day game. Discussion of a potential depth chart appear to be off the table. ... Fans will be able to judge for themselves Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The scrimmage's format will be announced Tuesday or Wednesday. "We're going to try to make it as game-like as possible, not only for ourselves but for our fans," [Gus Malzahn] said. Auburn's quarterbacks will be asked to tuck and run the football on designed plays and when plays break down in the hurry-up, no-huddle offense. The Tigers have yet to fully simulate those plays -- and the breakdowns -- in spring practices.

Uhhh...do you really want to practice your plays breaking down, Gus? Don't you wanna practice having them succeed? And try to keep in mind that $Cam ain't under center nowadays, although I know that's not a happy place in your mind anymore.

Malzahn: "Yes, you son of the Swamp, I do want plays breaking down and players learning to cope with that. You learn from mistakes, or you repeat them again and again. I'd rather have 'em do that kind of learning now than in the Fall. Shoot! What kind of education do they give you in Gainesville?"

Honestly, the clothing in the thread topper pic is gruesome. Given that Auburn has such a putrid shade of orange, they ought to be smart enough to emphasize blue and white, like the players home unis do.

I'm not sure where this smiley face thing came from and am revolted by one possible answer. For posts uncountable, we CFB regulars have splattered our humor all over the boards and threads and been recognized for such, sans smiley face. Freaking smiley faces are optional. Overused, they're Big Brother boring. Sparingly used, they convey a certain emphasis which is appreciated. You and I, GR, we get each other. We forget the smiley face and are none the worse for it.

Where's that sarcasm meter check people? GR gets his sarcasm meter check in the next 20 seconds, or you'll be doing up-downs for the next 20 minutes!
