09:15 PM ET 04.15 | The Eagles made another quarterback move Monday afternoon, purging the roster from one instead of adding yet another. The team released veteran quarterback Trent Edwards, who had made an improbable rise last year from camp body to second-stringer but didn???t really fit into the picture for new coach Chip Kelly. The transaction is mutually beneficial, as the Eagles can narrow their scope to the four quarterbacks on their roster as they begin their first three-day minicamp Tuesday. Edwards, who didn???t have a future with the club, has plenty of time to latch on with another team.

Foles will be right behind him. They're the same player just different age. Kelly wants mobile QBs.

The Saints should sign him. He has to be better than Senica Wallace.

Man, I thought he retired about three years ago.
