10:03 PM ET 04.15 | The New Orleans Saints have added another name to their quarterback mix, signing veteran Seneca Wallace to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday. Wallace joins the Saints a week after working out with the Oakland Raiders. Wallace, who also worked out with the Seattle Seahawks, spent the 2012 season out of football after the Cleveland Browns cut him during training camp. He went 1-6 as a starter in two seasons with the Browns. The Raiders said they had not ruled out signing Wallace, but the Saints eliminated the option. Drew Brees remains entrenched atop New Orleans' depth chart, but the backup job is open after Chase Daniel defected for the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency.

Nice backup to compliment Drew Breesy.

Saints still need a quality back-up QB, Wallace could not stick with the Browns last year, a year out of football will not make him better. Maybe we can trade Chris Ivory for Tim Tebow.

Interns, chill out! Chase Daniel didn't "defect" to the Chiefs, he saw an opportunity to play and took it.

Welp...I guess he is better than Chase Daniel their last backup

Browns need William Wallace not Seneca.

I wonder where he'll be playing the year after?
