08:11 AM ET 04.16 | Nothing was going to come easy this year for the Marlins, but at 2-11 they sure could use All-Star right fielder Giancarlo Stanton. [Stanton], who has missed the team's last four games with a sore left shoulder, will try to loosen up and take batting practice Tuesday. Stanton said he's still experiencing a "pinching" pain when he tries to raise his arm, but will try to give it a go Tuesday if he's able to take batting practice pain-free. "It's gotten significantly better," said Stanton. ... "The plan is to warm up [Tuesday] and swing and see where its at. To bring [my left arm] up, forward [my shoulder] doesn't like that. It feels like its being compressed. It hurts putting a shirt on. We'll see."

I am not a doctor Mr. Stanton, but the perfect remedy for your shoulder is your manager coming up to you and telling you that you have been traded, and the pain should go away quickly.

There's no question that this kid's got amazing talent, but he sure seems to get banged up and miss time a lot for a youngster.

Fragile.

You may be right but it will probably won't deter any teams from trying to acquire him if he's deemed tradeable by Loria.

Why is he taking BP when he can't lift his arm?

Seems like he might reaggravate something.

Most definitely not.

Stanton is probably the strongest power hitter in the world right now.
