03:48 PM ET 04.16 | Highly-touted Alabama Crimson Tide recruit Derrick Henry will be out for the team's A-Day after suffering a broken fibula on Saturday during a scrimmage, his high school coach said. The five-star running back was expected to play a big role in the Alabama back field with sophomore T.J. Yeldon, but the injury will derail his preparation. While the broken tibia will keep Henry out of Alabama's spring game, his high school coach Bobby Ramsay believes the talented back can return ahead of schedule.

It's okay. Now he will have more time to focus on his "studies..."

Heal thyself, Henry.

Best wishes and a speedy, full recovery to this young man.

We're loaded at RB, but I predcit his recovery will be very speedy and he'll be terrorizing SEC defenses very soon.

I endorse this message.

A medical hardship is what is used if they can no longer participate due to the doctor's recommendation, so they still get their degree. The horror.

You seem a little hurt. Why is that? Do you have proof we have cut anyone that could play but we said they couldn't?

No. The only one that we have told could not play that went to another school and actually played was Ezekial Knight and we were told he had heart issues. He had a heart issue that could have possibly killed him but then again might never flare up. He's fortunate that it has never flared up, but we could not take that chance.

You're clueless. Stop reading the internet. You don't get facts off the internet.

dont remember his name, actually I think it was a recruit who got his scholly pulled when he got hurt (not a career-ending injury) although he had already committed to Bama.

and there are also the "medical hardships" that bama seems to have so many of. No they dont lose their schollies but they also dont count against the 85 rule and for some reason bama has so many more of them than most other schools.
