07:58 AM ET 04.17 | What a difference a year makes for Mike Miller. There was a time, just 10 months ago, when [Miller] not only didn't think he would be in position to challenge for playoff playing time, but wasn't sure he even would be playing. "I was very close to quitting," he said, as the Miami Heat turned their attention to Wednesday night's regular-season finale. ... "If I felt like I was going to be a liability for this team, I was going to." Then came an offseason of rigorous rehabilitation on his balky back, followed by minimal playing time for the opening months of the season. Now? "Right now," he said, "I feel great. The way I feel, I feel better than I have in the last four years."

You weren't quitting fool! You just won the title with best team in the NBA and make $6Mil a year coming off the bench. You'll never see that kind of contract money again.

I know he has had injuries , but when he stepped in when the heat sat LeFlop and dirty Dwayne, he played very well....keep cashing that NBA check!

He had a big impact on that championship also. He made big shots which is what he suppose to do when he is wide open.

Yeah, agreed. I think he had a monstor game in #5 of last year's finals.

I remember watching him practically stagger up and down the court. Good for him that he had such success with rehab.

Said the same thing recently...

Was nice to see them dust off Miller and then he drops 27 on those fools.

The guy stayed ready when he might have his number called...and I was one that was calling for them to send him packing.

This is a deep Heat team with Allen and Anderson now playing significant time...I just hope this keeps up...

take bird man and his kiddie **** with u!!

Sad sad sad little man. :) If you read what actually happened you wouldn't talke like that, he didn't do anything bad or severe. Do you think any NBA team would have taken him back?

Do you think Lebron, Wade and Bosh would want to be associated with a person like that. Again, whatever happened is false and he got blackmailed.

Either you read about what happened or you shut your mouth.
