12:44 PM ET 04.17 | The NHL has reportedly been considering expanding beyond the traditional one outdoor game per season tradition, which has been centered around the incredibly lucrative and popular Winter Classic. Now word comes that the league will be engaging in SIX outdoor games next season, with the Los Angeles Kings hosting a game at Dodger Stadium and the New York Rangers hosting two games at Yankee Stadium. The Blackhawks would also host the Penguins at Soldier Field in Chicago, while the Senators and Canucks would play at BC Place in Vancouver.

Don't exaggerate..............they're only playing 6. Let's see Phoenix, Tampa, Miami, Charlotte, LA, and, of course, Anaheim. Game time? Noon at all six so the fans aren't chilly.
