Falcons looking to trade up in first round

06:06 PM ET 04.17 | The Atlanta Falcons have not been shy about jumping up in the draft for a player that they highly covet. They showed that back in 2011, when the team gave up loads of picks in order to trade up for wide receiver Julio Jones. Now, in the 2013 NFL Draft, reports indicate that the Falcons could be looking to trade up again. In a class that is loaded with talented pass rushers, it would not be a surprise to see the team looking to trade up to land a talented defensive end. An athletic defensive tackle would also make sense or even a tight end like Notre Dame's Tyler Eifert.

Quality over quantity.

They're not used to drafting outside the top ten very often.

Please call Reggie McKenzie, I hear Oakland is looking to trade down in order to have a 1st and 2nd round pick. But the Dolphins (better picks) are willing to do the same thing..... Mr. McKenzie please call them.

Arthur Blank looks like he ought to be hosting a game show on TV.

I immediately thought of "Cruisin' with Reuben and the Jets," the old Frank Zappa album that used Frank's high school picture.

I'm pretty sure they've been winning over the last 5 or so years. And you clearly don't follow too closely seeing how Dimitroff came from New England (since you don't seem to know much, they usually have a pretty good squad). Thanks for the comment though..

If any team was forward thinking, they would be angling for high draft picks in next year's draft which will offer more in the way of top talent....
