08:02 PM ET 04.17 | Who else could they have picked? After winning two of the four tournaments on The Florida swing in March, Tiger Woods wins the Player of the Month provided by Avis for March. Woods captured over 61 percent of the vote that is tallied up on PGATour.com, with Kevin Streelman, D.A. Points, and Michael Thompson in the voting. Tiger Woods won the March POY by virtue of wins coming in WGC competition at The Cadillac Championship in Doral, and his eighth career win at Bay Hill in the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Although Tiger didn't pick up another Green Jacket in Augusta last week, with three wins on the season, I don't look for this to be his only Avis award in the 2013 season. There is a lot of great golf left before we wrap it up at the Tour Championship in October. Kevin Streelman came in second with over 31 percent of the vote.

No doubt this award provides great consolation to Tiger in the wake of the Masters results.

Eldrick "LOSER" Woods is a DISTRACTION to the PGA--- he brought the tabloids into the game. That is his legacy-- his life is a cartoon and will only be remembered for "da hookas"...

I think this award signifies that he needs to try harder to win another major.
