01:32 PM ET 04.18 | Tim Tebow's quarterback coach, Steve Clarkson, has been campaigning for his pupil to start in the NFL, but he believes Mark Sanchez should be under center for the Jets, according to Marc Sessler of NFL.com. Clarkson added that if Tebow were to become a starter in the NFL, then it would be on a different team. That may happen soon, as the Jets could release Tebow after next week's NFL Draft. The team is hoping that the trade market for the former Heisman winner will pick up after the draft dust settles. Despite the rumors, the quarterback still showed up to New York's minicamp this week. Sessler says that Clarkson doesn't believe himself to be Tebow's coach, but rather an adviser brought in to offer an opinion. That opinion has been that Tebow can be a starter in the NFL and has fixed his throwing motion. Clarkson tweeted his proof in the form of an odd picture that may or may not prove that Tebow is actually a dinosaur.

Sanchez shouldn't be starting for any team in the NFL. Perhaps Clarkson is a Jet hater.

Clarkson is just looking out for his client (Tebow)...

No way Tebow's gonna shine with that Offense.

Tebow needs to get as far away from the Jets as possible. Everything that he does as it relates to them seems to be ugly and getting uglier.

Tebow wants out. We know, Steve.

Part of the "open competition" for the Jets quarterback job is to see which guy can run away from this team the fastest.

I am still laughing at the Jet's 1st half play in the game on Thanksgiving Day against the Pats.

Can still see Sanchez running into his own lineman and falling down, freaking hilarious.

And, that game was officially called the "Thanksgiving Classic." The Jets fumbled 3 times in the second quarter, leading to 3 Patriot TDs within 52 seconds. The Buttfumble was the second of the 3 fumbles.

I was at an old college friend's house, watching the game after a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat. We were all laughing with great gusto after the Buttfumble, when the host's wife, kind of a feminist type, started berating us for laughing at poor Sanchez's misfortune. I held my tongue out of politeness, but fortunately her husband said, "But these are the JETS! We HAVE to laugh at them!" We went back to snickering as they showed replay after replay, and then settled down again for the kickoff, which was fumbled by the Jets and run in by Julian Edelman as he caught the ball in the air on a dead run.

Thanksgiving Classic, indeed.

You could throw Tebow and Sancheezee in a bag and pull one out and have about the same results.

And it appears he hired this constant comment guy to do his bidding for him. Sorry, but Tebow is playing it both ways. Acting like the " Team Guy" but letting someone else throw the arrows.

Man up Timmy and speak for yourself....

Nah. Tebow would have run into his lineman's ****, knocked the guy over and kept on running.
