03:58 PM ET 04.18 | The Los Angeles Kings have activated defenseman Matt Greene off injured reserve, according to an announcement by the team on Thursday. Greene has missed the majority of the season since injuring his back on opening day. He is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets. According to NHL.com, Greene is expected to play in place of Keaton Ellerby and will likely be paired with Jake Muzzin. It remains unclear how head coach Darryl Sutter plans to use Greene as he expressed a desire to ease back into the lineup.

He's missed most of the season.....back injury......not sounding too promising.......wish him luck.
