08:31 AM ET 04.19 | It didn't take new Minnesota recruit Daquein McNeil to start thinking about playing with All-Big Ten guard Andre Hollins next season. "To be honest, I'm expecting to learn from him because he's a great player," McNeil said on Wednesday, April 17, after becoming the first player to commit to new coach Richard Pitino. The 6-foot-3 Vermont Academy fifth-year senior said he'll play wherever Pitino needs him. Point guard is the biggest need. So McNeil is glad to give Hollins a chance to move over to off guard to concentrate on doing what Hollins does best -- score. "I'm pretty good with the ball and I can create shots for others," McNeil said. "With him being a great shooter, that can take him back to the shooting guard position."
