09:21 AM ET 04.20 | Brett Anderson is becoming more accustomed to talking about his freak injuries and ungainly mishaps than his pitching, and that's a problem. Anderson left with a sprained right ankle after giving up four runs in the first inning in the A's 8-3 loss to the Rays at Tropicana Field, which ended Oakland's six-game winning streak on the road. Anderson didn't hurt himself trying to field a ball, as he had two starts earlier; he said he hit his heel too hard on a pitch to Yunel Escobar, the final batter he faced. "I just landed a little wrong," he said, describing the ankle as "pretty swollen." Anderson was wearing an air cast after the game. X-rays were taken but results were not back yet. Anderson noted that he now has required X-rays after half of his starts.

How can the A's continue the winning streak?? the A's could, but first they need to fix Anderson's injury rash...,,.

luckely the A's have enough reliable pitching in their starter rotation or else who knows??

April 20, 2013  11:37 AM ET

Pitching its the number 1, in any team, because when a team lacks in the pitching availability, things are farther difficult!!!

any team can take any blow at their offense, but when a starter suffers a injury it could turn to be a devastated lost on the rotation!!
