07:01 AM ET 04.22 | What, you thought Kobe Bryant would go silent during the second season? Although [Mike D'Antoni] stayed optimistic about Game 2 Wednesday and the possibility the Lakers would hit more jumpers, the coach flashed the frustration he sometimes does after tough losses upon being asked about Bryant on Twitter emphasizing the ball going to the post. D'Antoni said they tried to get the ball inside, then rolled his eyes, saying: "It's great to have that commentator." D'Antoni tried to downplay the situation, saying: "He's a fan right now. You guys put a little bit more importance on that kind of fan. ... He wants to be part of it, so that's good." And Bryant tweeted in response: "A fan?? Lol."

"D'Antoni irked by Bryant tweets"...

Think Mike's irked now, wait until the Phil Jackson threads fill FN throughout the off season. I won't be surprised if they find him curled up in the corner of some room somewhere...

Why does D'Antoni feel like he needs to comment on stuff like this ?

cuz he's the Head coach and needs to address Kobe's carping.

Probably because the leering press can't help but to ask the question and he has no idea how to say "No Comment".

The tweets are pretty funny. Funny that Kobe all of a sudden believes that the post should be fed all the time. Like he would feed the post when he was playing...lol

Why is that funny? In his absence, something has to happen. Kobe's the greatest of all time. And he obviously learned how to use his new i-Phone...

Dumbtoni angered the Mamba. Welp, that's officially his ticket outta there!

Kobe, you're not the coach!

Exactly! Kobe tweeting during the game, is that something so outrageous. Maybe if he was tweeting to the ream and they were reading the tweets...that would be a story.

iPhone? That's like DJ making excuses for his spelling and grammar error after correcting everybody else...lol

Okay, he is the greatest but he doesn't need to be in the spotlight right now. This is why he'll play until his 20th season because he loves the attention so much. And why didn't he feed the post as much when he was playing? Why does he see it differently? Dumbtonie was right. They were feeding post a lot more than usual. The outside shooters weren't hitting their shots.
