Steelers interested in Bray?

01:48 PM ET 04.22 | The Pittsburgh Steelers could be interested in drafting Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray. The Steelers aren't quite ready to take the successor to Ben Roethlisberger, but they could take a flyer on Bray and have him sit and develop for a few years. Bray has all the physical tools to be an NFL quarterback today, but his mental and emotional makeup suggests that he needs a few years to develop into that role. The Steelers would present an ideal destination for him, as he wouldn't necessarily be counted on to play right away. The team's decision-makers attended his pro day workout last month in Knoxville, and reportedly had dinner with him the night before. Bray's tenure at Tennessee was marked by disappointment in terms of the team's record, but he was often forced to try to throw the Vols back into games against superior SEC competition. He completed over 59 percent of his passes in 2012, throwing for 3,612 yards, 34 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

I can already hear the noises from the Steelers fans when that donkey from Tennessee takes the field...

"Take a flyer"? Bray has a cannon for an arm.....Steelers would probably have to take him with the 17th pick, he won't be there in round 2.......Don't see that happening.

You can't blame Bray. All the receivers that Lane Kiffin recruited up and left school after one year!

(Some not by their own choice....)

6'6", cannon arm, 3 to 1 TD to interception ratio and should be cheap to get. They might be able to coach him up and by the time Ben has to hang it up he could be ready. Another QB from Clovis, CA.
