03:38 PM ET 04.22 | Spring games might not count in the standings, but you wouldn't know it from attendance figures around the SEC. The conference that's won the last seven national titles had five of the top six teams in terms of spring game attendance, including the top three.
Auburn and Alabama top the list, with 83,401 and 78,315 respectively. That Auburn figure - spurred on by the fact that it was Gus Malzahn's first spring game as head coach, and by a post-game celebration of the Toomer's Oaks, which will soon be cut down - would have been the No. 14 average regular season attendance in 2011, the last season for which data was released.
