05:06 PM ET 04.22 | Call it weird that Milwaukee Bucks center Samuel Dalembert was being asked before his playoff series opener against the Miami Heat how he'd go about his upcoming free agency. It's more astonishing he suggested that he'd take a look at signing with his first round opponent before he'd yet to face them. "The Heat will be definitely an option," Dalembert told FOX Sports Florida on Sunday before his Bucks lost to the Heat. "It's up to them and seeing what???s going to be out there. But at this point you want to be with a contending team. You don't want to go backwards, so you want to chase that promised land."

Game 1 of this first round NBA playoff series verified why Miami which won 110 87 has so little concern with Milwaukee See, this was the Bucks??? best shot. Their adrenaline was palpable. They took 14 more shots than Miami Their mouthy guard who promised a Bucks series win in six games Brandon Jennings scored 26 points The sloppy Heat had 19 turnovers

This Heat team looks even better than last year I truly believe they re by far the best team in the league right now The Thunder Spurs and Knicks aren t anywhere on the Heat's level

Ring chasing Sammy. Lots of players will be coattailing on LeBron now. Where were these guys when he was with Cleveland?

The key word there is Cleveland.

If you had a choice to move to NY, LA, CHI, BOS or CLE and make millions which would be the last on the list?

Hell even Boozer felt that he was too good for CLE.

We'll see. The media and Heat fans have the next ten championships all sewed up. Too bad there is such a thing as reality.

That's a great point. How much character does it take to want to join a bunch of superstars all piled up on one team?

Dalembert chose money last time, which makes anybody think he'll change his mind???
Oh yes well he didn't get much playing time, then again he doesn't wanna win he'd rather get paid by a suck team!
Until he puts his money where his mouth is and actually signs with the heat I don't take him seriously!

April 23, 2013  09:30 AM ET

Resign Birdman, amnesty Joel & sign Dalembert...
Why can't we have them both, Joel is garbage!
