06:54 AM ET 04.23 | These days, the most famous sideline "fan" may be Kobe Bryant, but Derrick Rose ranks closely behind. "He really wants to play," teammate Luol Deng was saying in the visiting locker room, after the Bulls became the first road team to win in these playoffs with a 90-82 victory in Brooklyn on Monday night. "And this decision, even though people are coming down on him, it's really killing him. It's really hurting him. I know how much he wants to be out there with us." But he hasn't been, and won't be. For now and for the foreseeable future, a spectator is all Derrick Rose will be in this first-round series with the Nets. "I know that for a fact," a person briefed on Rose's non-timetable timetable said after the game.

And here I had taken the Bulls as a sleeper pick in my office pool because I KNEW he was coming back!

Way to clamp down on Deron Williams last night. Kirk Hinrich is permanently assigned to him now. With that being said, we'll see Derrick Rose NEXT YEAR!!!

He did a great job on him.

Meanwhile, Noah is basically playing on one leg and still hustling for his team like a warrior.

I withdraw everything I've ever said about the Bulls going after Howard. Think I'd rather have Noah.

You're still in good shape. They've been shocking teams w/out DRose and Noah. They took the home court advantage away from Brooklyn.

Well since the Lakers don't play again until Wednesday, the interns need some kind of story to post.

"Before the game on Monday, Rose, wearing Bulls practice gear and a brace on his surgically repaired left knee, knocked down jump shot after jump shot, moving fluidly with every one."

That's what people saw during practice, but of course, the prince didn't or won't suit up because his "mind" isn't ready!!!!

And we still have readers here that think Rose is doing the "right thing". His brothers (teammates) and leaving blood on the floor. Shame on Rose!!!

Or any LBJ fan's world the previous two years. There is only one way to completely put an end to it.
