03:22 PM ET 04.23 | Five teams can clinch playoff berths on Tuesday night. The Washington Capitals will have an opportunity to capture the Southeast Division with a victory over the Winnipeg Jets. Winnipeg is basically battling for their playoff lives as they have played the most games of any other team still in playoff contention in the East. In the event of a loss, both New York teams could clinch a spot with a win on Tuesday. In addition, the idle Ottawa Senators will have three more opportunities to clinch a spot while the Jets will only have one game remaining. In the West, the San Jose Sharks can clinch a spot with a single point against the Dallas Stars.

Yeah because they threw their game away last night because they were more worried about teaching Cooke a "lesson" than getting 2 points closer to the playoffs. LULZ

Cooke pulled pussay on the Sens..like the coward that he is...but yeah the excuses will come flying out now as to why he didnt drop his mitts.......

No he didn't. First off he's not obligated to fight Neil because of an accident.
Second he is smaller than Neil. Neil is a PUSSAY because he won't fight anyone his own size. Big Mac wanted to go with Neil and it didn't happen. Why should Cooke fight a bigger guy when Neil won't fight guys his own size?
Thirdly by not fighting Cooke further distracted the Sens and made them shoot themselvse in the foot and helped his own team win. Cooke has repeatedly apologized for this. I'm not sure what more people want from him. And he DID fight Thornton after the Savard hit. So you got to see your Cooke incident fight, why do you care about him fighting the Sens?

Cooke KNEW he'd have to answer the bell but chose not to cause its not in his DNA to stand up to players..but instead his DNA dicatates that he hits players when they're in vulnerable positions and injure players..........and any Pens fans that cry and moan about players playing dirty against your team is very hypocritical. The injuries to your team right now ?? KARMA.

Okay.

You're lack of maturity strikes again. So, Crosby, Malkin, Neal, etc. deserve their injuries because of how Matt Cooke played a couple of years ago? Sure. This from a Bruins' fan? When you live or your team lives in a glass house, put down that boulder, friend and zip it.

Sorry unless this is weight watchers no height or weight BS needed. You cross the line the code is you answer the bell. Cooke is puke plain and simple. I have no problem with him and his shenanigans; but be a man when your challenged....dont size him up and talk your way out of it.

So Cooke is supposed to appease an opposing team and help them win? The Pens owed the Sens 2 points last night? Should Cooke have fought Neil and then they just let them fill the net with pucks?
What line was crossed? It was an accident. I know the NHL's enforcement of rules and suspending players is a joke most times but you really think they would let Cooke get off scott free if he purposely did that?
