03:42 PM ET 04.23 | Lattimore participated in a media tour Tuesday on behalf of EAS Sports Nutrition, his first endorsement since declaring himself for the draft after injuring his right knee in the ninth game of his junior season. Before that, he was projected as a first-round pick ??? if he had left South Carolina after a healthy junior season. He said the St. Louis Rams, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers have shown the most interest in him during the predraft process. Lattimore enjoyed his visit to New England and came away impressed with three-time Super Bowl-winning coach Bill Belichick. "I like him. That was a real good visit," Lattimore said. "He's straight up with you. He knows everything about you before you walk in the room. It was great to meet him. They win, and you see why they win. Just the whole staff is really competitive."

The niners have Frank Gore, Kendall Hunter and LaMichael James. I would take James before Lattimore. Just don't see the niners looking that way. Replacement for Justin Smith is the real need and Lotulelei makes more sense...

49ers ?? .. Kendall Hunter was solid for the Niners as was
LaMichael James . We have plenty of depth behind Gore.
