07:10 AM ET 04.24 | Mark Richt landed one of the nation's top tight ends Monday when Georgia received a verbal commitment from Class of 2014 prospect Jeb Blazevich. The 6-5, 228-pounder from Charlotte Christian School (Charlotte, N.C.) chose the Bulldogs over other major powers such as Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Ohio State. The addition of Blazevich means that the 'Dawgs may struggle to find a spot in this class for 6-3, 230-pound in-state star Milan Richard, who is Herschel Walker's nephew and also plays tight end. The Under Armour All-American Blazevich will become yet another star tight end to land in Athens. Of course, the 'Dawgs have been able to send a number of tight ends to the NFL.

He will have the honor of playing for the worlds nicest coach. (Who can't win the big game.)

So what do the other roster TEs look like? How many are there?

Need more info here before passing judgement on Herschel's nephew. Just because they nabbed a good recruit doesn't necessarily mean another good one should be left out in the cold.

Quoting a majority of Dawgs fans, it was Bobo's fault.

And he won't be, assuming Richard isn't swayed by the bubbling blather of the media. The bent of this story is manufactured, a consequence of journalism's decline from post-WWII heights of honorable professionalism to the purview of social media star wannabes.

We lost out on this guy mostly because he could see playing behind O.J. Howard was going to be somewhat frustrating.

If a kid commits to UGA then he has a spot....Richt doesn't bump kids like Saban does.

Hey Richard! You'd look good in a Buckeye uniform.

April 24, 2013  09:29 AM ET

Definitely a future member of the All-Name team.

If UGA plays coy with either of these fine young men, they should both commit to Tennessee. Join the Vols, boys, and play some football!!!
