07:15 AM ET 04.24 | Prior to the Avs taking on the Blues Tuesday night, defenseman Matt Hunwick, who played with what he called a "fish bowl," addressed the facial injuries he suffered Sunday. David Backes' follow-through struck Hunwick in the cheek and mouth, causing a tooth/root to pop out and requiring stitches to the inside of his lip and cheek. The tooth/root was found by an official after the ensuing whistle after Hunwick skated off. The tooth/root were put back in Hunwick's mouth and the loose tooth is wired to its neighbors. "Pretty rare, one tooth knocked out, root and all, but lucky enough we could find it and put it back in. It took about 15 minutes," Hunwick said.
