07:02 AM ET 04.25 | Yes, it's already that time of year again. It's never too early to start thinking about another summer sell-off, and with another poor April, most everyone on the Cubs has to be wondering if they'll still be around in August. Among those who could be goners are Alfonso Soriano, Carlos Marmol, Darwin Barney, David DeJesus and Matt Garza, due to pending free agency, payroll concerns or the simple fact that the Cubs could get something of value in return. How this will all play out is unknown. ... The biggest name, of course, is Soriano, who said he has no timetable for how long he will wait before deciding whether to give [President Theo Epstein] the green light to deal him.

I have a bunch of junk parts in my basement. I still owe a lot of money for some of them. I wonder if I can sell them to someone who will pay what I still owe on them.

They SHOULD sell, sell, sell. (The players, the stadium and then implode it, the whole kit and kaboodle), and move to Florida.

April 25, 2013  08:22 AM ET

LOL... Those cubbies.

Only the cubs talk sell sell sell in April. As if they didn't know what they had.

Does Florida support the two teams they already have I.M.?
Chicago is a good market to be in. All they need to do is get with the times and renovate that stadium or build a new one. Play as many night games as everybody else as well. They could thrive if they just made a few key changes there.

No they don't support the two teams they have in Florida. I'm just thinking to get them FAR away from here in Wisconsin, that's all. I just picked Florida off the top of my head. I don't mind New Mexico, California, Washington state, Oregon, Cuba, Venezuela. As long as it's far from here. :)

I understand now. Meantime...NFL draft coming up....what's Green Bay going after?

Pass rusher hopefully. They have to get quicker to stop SF. Praying they don't take Lacy. We don't need that most of all. He's the pick of some around here.

Yeah, a good DT or DE....or maybe on the other side of the ball a quality OT to keep the best QB in the league safe.

If the Cubs plan on paying a huge part of his salary, Soriano could be a steal for the Padres. Same goes for the A's where they could hide his glove.

Sounds like the definition of a 'yard sale.'

At what point is this no longer humorous and one questions all things Cub. I find it funny that a team can be run so poorly for years and people still come. Probably not so funny to Cub fans

They go to party, it's a great area to hang out and be seen in...........very few people actually go to watch the games, I know I live just outside Chicago............

April 25, 2013  05:58 PM ET

there is your answer. fans dont care why should management

April 25, 2013  06:10 PM ET

There isn't much that other teams would want that the Cubbies would actually be willing to "sell". I'm surprised at the people who are surprised how bad they are. It's the same core as last year.

April 25, 2013  06:13 PM ET

The Cubs are an absolute f*cking joke like every year!! And I'm a Cubs fan...
