06:57 AM ET 04.26 | Entering Game 3, the Grizzlies' biggest problem wasn't going to be Jamal Crawford -- it was going to be Chris Paul, who was devastating in Game 2. And in Game 3, amazingly, they made him mortal. Paul was 4 of 11 from the field with four assists and five turnovers. They attacked Paul constantly, often with three defenders. In the pick and roll, they deployed larger and longer defenders, moving Mike Conley off-ball for long stretches and using Tony Allen and Quincy Pondexter. They moved in front of picks in anticipation, daring Paul to have someone else beat him. And they attacked him low to disrupt his dribble. ... [Some] of it's that Paul had a bad game. But using longer defenders has proven to be more effective.

this is definitely the best series of the first round. The Tony Allen/CP3 battle has been extremely fun to watch.

OKC gets the winner of this series right? I wonder if Kobe will be tweeting about the good LA basketball team if they advance to play the Thunder.

That blue print is the same for any superstar that has the ball in his hands a lot. This works for Kobe, Nash, Parker, DWill, Lebron, DWade, etc. you have to force the ball out of their hands. Don't give them what they want. Don't let them go wherever they want to go. Deny the ball going to them as much as possible. It will be the supporting casts to really help out the superstars and make them pay for doubling.

First mistake is to believe that you can stop CP3. At best, the 2 things you can hope for is one, not to pi** him off, & two, just to contain him. Stay tuned for Game 4. It ought to be a good one.
