Napier to announce NBA decision Friday

07:02 AM ET 04.26 | Today is the day for Shabazz Napier. Napier, UConn's leading scorer last season, has been evaluating information for several weeks. The consensus is that he would at best be a late second-round pick in the NBA draft. That would indicate a stronger argument for staying at UConn. He has had several talks with coach Kevin Ollie, who played 13 years in the league. They met again Thursday morning. ... It is not clear whether [Russ Smith and C.J. Fair's surprising decisions to stay in school] would push Napier toward leaving, since it makes the draft thinner, or whether he would consider their example as logic for staying. We will know Friday, Napier promises.

What used to baffle me was how OT pulled it off from the Left Coast. He must've worked graveyard shift or something. But I ditto your DC longing.

OT would blithely grab 1st posts and la la la la la through the day. DC would be beside himself for nailing 1st posts across the boards.
