07:03 AM ET 04.26 | Is Kiehl Frazier's seat about to get a little hotter? As a junior with immediate eligibility this fall and ample on-field experience for a BCS contender, it's no surprise former Florida State quarterback Clint Trickett is a coveted transfer prospect. The Tallahassee product has already visited West Virginia and is expected to seriously consider USF as well. But, per CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman, a third school could enter the mix on Thursday "@BFeldmanCBS: Fmr #FSU QB Clint Trickett is taking an official visit to #Auburn, a source told CBS this morning." ... Sophomore Jonathan Wallace was promising enough as a freshman to steal the job from Frazier during his 2012 true freshman season. So there's no doubt the job is as open as any BCS-level job can be.

I don't suppose recent reports of Auburn's potential troubles with the NCAA may weigh in Trickett's decision.

Hard to say on that one IMO.

A kinda crazy reporter files a kinda crazy story alleging kinda crazy goings-on at Aubie, that need to be investigated by kinda crazy NCAA guys with a crappy reputation for good investigating. If I were a potential player, that's not alot of good info to judge with.

Is Trickett a transfer and play immediately prospect?

Because the aubarn situation is dire at QB. No QBs for sale at Blinn this year.

Soooooooooooooooo...the greatest MLB since Ray Lewis didnt get pick...Say it aint so Teo

The only ILB to get picked so far is Alec Ogletree (UGA > Rams). Three OLBs have been picked - Dion Jordan (Oregon > Dolphins), Barkaveous Mingo (LSU > Browns), and Jarvis Jones (UGA > Steelers). One can see the fits for the organizations.

BTW, LUS, I've one lone peach-colored iris among the yellow and purple ones reminding me that Chavis is coaching monster Ds in Baton Rouge.
