07:04 AM ET 04.26 | Wolverines fans will be happy to know that, even in the offseason, Devin Gardner doesn't lack for confidence. Now Michigan's starting quarterback, he and the receivers are putting in individual work the rest of the spring and summer to refine their timing. On Wednesday, Gardner pulled back the curtain for a peek at his connection with senior Jeremy Gallon. He demonstrated in a short video clip that he tweeted that he can hit Gallon with his eyes closed. Gardner opens the video by saying what's coming: "Eyes closed, square out." On a four- to five-step dropback, he throws 10 yards to the right side, then asks the cameraman, "He got it?" ... Gallon enters the frame and says, "Hands don't lie." Gardner is in his first off-season as the starter, and his teammates said repeatedly during the spring that he has showed more leadership skills.

Gardner will play the games with his eyes wide open, but it's good to read that he and the receivers are working together "on their own time."

So what other Superman skills has Gardner developed? Faster than a speeding bullet? More powerful than a locomotive? etc. etc.

Duke HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

We all know it is coming!!!!

It's called throwing to a spot. How college quarterbacks can look all world in college and some how look horrible in the NFL. But hay, this is college so " You go Devin."

Why does this remind me of the commercial of the guy asking kids about doing two things at once is better and the kid waggles his head and waggles his hand at the same time and the guy says, "That's great." And whne someone tries to interrupt he says, "Hold on, I'm watching this."

Not looking for the video...But I can assume he was throwing against AIR..

Yeah, even I can complete 100% against no D if you put enough air under the ball

Love those spots, especially the ones with former NBA greats which ran during the NCAA tourney.

Get your buddy (assuming you have one) ;) . . .

1. Get in formation / split him out wide.
2. Tell him to run a 10-yard out
3. Close your eyes.
4. Start the play
5. Do a 5-step drop
6. Hit him on the side line.

I was a HS QB. I think I could do it but not as easy as you make it sound.

Gardner to Gallon will be a common statement during Michigan games this year . . . assuming both of them stay healthy. Prelude to 2013 was the bowl where Gallon had 9 catches for 145 yds and a TD vs South Carolina.

So was I. that's why I said put enough air under it

Didn't watch video, but I had in mind soft outs and about 3-4 secs of hangtime to let the receiver adjust to ball :)

I played in the HS band. Not as glamorous as HS QB, but the bus was coed. ;-)

I guarantee you he will have his eyes wide open for 60 minutes on Nov 30th!!!!!!!!
