09:28 AM ET 04.28 | The Celtics are angry. At the Knicks. At themselves. But mainly at the Knicks. While they were being blown out at home Friday, the Celtics felt the Knicks were showboating, rubbing Boston's collective nose into the same floor they wiped with the Celtics team. "Yeah, we did. We all did. That's what made us so mad, so angry," guard Avery Bradley said before the Celtics' film session yesterday. "We just got to go out there and play the right way. We've got to not let that happen again. After the game, that was definitely something [discussed]. Somebody said it right after we got in the locker room: 'Oh, they're showboating on us, they're dunking.' And everybody kind of looked like, 'Yeah you're right,' " Bradley added. "But all we can do is go out there and play the right way and play hard and don't give them a chance to showboat."

Revenge is a dish best served cold. For years the Celtics ruled the East but now the tide has turned.

Damn good point!!! How many times have the Celtics and Garnett "showboated and rubbed" the opponents noses into the court??? Didn't Garnett even get down on all fours and bark like a dog??? Come on Celtics, it's time to man-up and quit complaining!!!!!

EEA, the only difference is, the Lakers are not "complaining" about losing!!! :-)

Maybe that's part of the problem? They need to get angry about being swept on their home court and win one for respect's sake.

Oh yeah, I totally agree, but that's not going to happen with all of their injuries!!! I see MVP is out of today's game!! :-)

So it's okay for the Celtics to show up other teams when they win? But how dare any team showboat to them.

Remember the teams and players you step on when your team is winning. Because one day, your team will start to lose. And those players will remember how you acted. Guess what Celtic players? The chickens have come home to roost

As a Celtic homer I can only say one thing.................

Celtics...........Shut up and show up for the games.............You are an embarassment to Celtic tradition and the fans with not only your play but with the whining...............

Russell, Hondo, Cowens, Bird and McHale and company would not have cried that the Knicks were showboating and rubbing it in........They would have stepped up their game and stopped the Knicks from doing that............

and I was really counting on another classic Lakers - Celtics finals this year. smh

Then do something about it Celtics. You've been showboating for a long time now and now that the tide has turned you're crying foul. It's sweeping time. The first 3 games today will feature the brooms....
