10:14 AM ET 04.28 | Believe it or not, Carlos Marmol said he's still having fun. "Of course I am," he said. "Always." Marmol had a rough start for the Cubs, being removed from his closer's role after six games, getting booed on the opening homestand and not knowing from day to day what his role will be. Manager Dale Sveum said he isn't in any hurry to name a closer. "Our bullpen is doing just fine without one," he said. Marmol has had nine straight scoreless outings since April 8, although he did have a blown save Tuesday in the victory over the Reds. Has he spoken to Sveum about his role lately? "Nope," he said. Does he think he eventually will get the job back? "I have no idea," he said. "They didn't say anything, and I never ask. What am I going to do?"

The Cubs are 9-14 and are in last place in their Division. I don't think closer should be their primary area of focus.

MARMOL, has to keep in mind one solo thing and one thing only,,,,pitching/pitching/pitching/location/location/location/conssistency /conssistency/conssistency,every time every game every moment, can't take time to blink/to think/to breath/not even to sleep,,,MARMOL should set himself and his mind in his work at the mound,,,, and nothing else~!!

the cubs shouldn't feel lonely in their record/in their spot as a last place,, the angels are happily content to be competing for the same amount of games, after all the record is nice and comfortable for the cubs and angels as well,,,,,

there is something that should make the cubs more happy, at least they didn't sign big names, and at least they didn't throw millions in the trash, the angels aren't only worse with a bad record, they throw money in the trash and signed bigger names and bigger hitters IN PAPER, but in the real game and in the real lineup, halos are worse than a triple A team in the minors,,,i mean can't pitch/ can't field/can't hit/can't have any conssistant at the plate/can't hold any lead/can't come from behind at all in any late games/can't close any games because any ways most of the times they are losing, and on top of everything,,the whole team lack in respect for their own team and to make matters worse now they don't have any respect for the league and their boss(arte moreno),,,

the CUBS should feel prouded of themselves, after all a big team as the ANGELS together with them,,NICE RECORD and who would feel bad about either team???nobody that's WHO!!!

if the angels could have a little shame on their lineup,,halos should bench, PUJOLS/HAMILTON,, why waste this spots? where a utility player should do the same thing? i mean you don't need this players to be there where a utility player can strikeout himself 100 times in 60 games or so,,,

ANGELS refuse, and will continue refusing to acknowledge their miserable season, their miserable offense as well their pitching deffense, as long the halos refuse to clean their coaching spots,,,
the team will continue deeping down in their division,, still thinking is too earlier?? keep thinking keep hoping keep expecting, by the time the PUJOLS HAMILTON offense wakesup, everything will be late,,,hitting COACH has to go,,and pitching coach has to go,,and if things still falling apart,,the manager and GM most go as well!!!
