07:01 AM ET 04.29 | April has not yet been kind to Blue Jays No. 1 starter R.A. Dickey, and the organization may want to take a closer look at a nagging injury. [Dickey] is expected to go for an MRI in the near future to examine the cause of his upper back and neck injury. Dickey has been dealing with the issue during his past four outings, but with the pain having yet to fully subside, he feels a further checkup is required. ... [Dickey] said it could happen on Monday after the club returns from its seven-game road trip that was just completed Sunday. "I think we might take an MRI and see exactly what's going on so we can pinpoint the treatment a little bit better," Dickey said.

What are those loud noises you're hearing? Folks in T.O. are jumping off the Jays bandwagon. What are those sobs you're hearing? Staff at the CBC are crying over the Leafs not playing the Habs in the first round!

Uh oh.... Downed Dickey.

The weight of expectations has collapsed on this team.

QUOTE(#5):

There are too many problems to list. Two biggest, though, are defense and an unending desire to strand their teammates on base. Everything else would fall in line if these two matters were solved.Gibbons, thus far, is looking like AA's biggest mistake.

Maybe he should have kept John Farrell.

A bit early for a "collapse," no?

Not good news for a knuckleballer who is barely putting any stress on his body in the first place. Dickey is a great story. I hope he will be OK.

QUOTE(#8):

He should have. He should have filed a tampering case against the Sox and forced Farrell to rot as a scout or something until his deal was up.

All I'm sayin is, it looks like John Farrell wasn't the problem everybody in Toronto was making him out to be.

Me too - great story - I'm hoping it's just some tightness that just won't release..... we'll have to wait and see what the MRI says.

It'll be funny when June hits and Ricky Romero is back to being the #1 for the Jays because everyone else is either ineffective or injured.

QUOTE(#9):

It is, but a four game sweep in the Bronx, going an entire month with only one series victory, being 8 games under .500, losing your best player for half the season, and having players make very, very questionable judgment calls out on the field is more than ample amount of bull to begin questioning.

Maybe they need a little more time to gel. I'm not ready to write Toronto off just yet, despite the very real problems you've mentioned.

I'm not ready to write them off either. They have more talent than they're showing, and there's still plenty of season left.

I think they'll still finish where I picked them prior to the start of the season: 4th place in the AL East.

They've got the 3rd worst record in MLB. That's gotta suck for a fan base that thought they had a contender.
