04:45 PM ET 04.29 | New York Rangers forward Derek Dorsett has not been cleared for contact and will not be ready for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal against the Washington Capitals on Thursday night. Dorsett underwent a CT scan but is not considered to have suffered a setback, as he is still apparently on schedule. He is expected to meet with doctors in the near future and is hopeful he will return sometime soon. He originally fractured his clavicle while playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 7 and has yet to make his debut for the Rangers since being acquired on deadline day.

I really don't have anything to say HC (as usual). I just want these two avatars together for W2's enjoyment.

LOL. I've been told that before. Oh.......you mean the avatar. We'll know late tomorrow night. If all goes well it'll be yours for a week. :-)

Well he's not cleared for contact, so they won't fly with him I guess.

Cold doesn't bother me. Things get heated up in a hurry in the playoffs. But, would they want a guy who's not yet healthy to start a playoff game?
