05:57 PM ET 04.29 | Jack Hoffman, a young cancer patient and Nebraska fan, had the opportunity to meet President Barack Obama on Monday. Hoffman became one of the better feel-good stories in recent weeks when he got to run the ball for a touchdown during Nebraska's spring game. He ran 69 yards for the score, and once he reached the end zone, Nebraska players surrounded him, putting him on their shoulders. Hoffman has become close to the Cornhuskers program since his initial diagnosis, and his story went national with that touchdown scamper.

Great story........congrats to Nebraska for this wonderful moment in this kid's life. One of the best stories to come out of sports in a while, IMO.

Totally agree.

I hope somebody coached the kid to tell POTUS "pssst, hey, if you really want to make me a happy camper, go kick some tushy at the NCAA HQ, willya? Those guys blow."
