Which CFL team offered Tebow a job?

07:00 AM ET 04.30 | Oh, hello, Canada? If Tim Tebow decides he wants to take his talents North of the border, the Montreal Alouettes would roll-out the welcome mat for him. But anyone hoping to see a rerun of Tebowmania that gripped the NFL two seasons ago may have to wait a while. The Alouettes plan for Tebow, at least initially, would be similar to the backup role he fulfilled with the New York Jets, rather than the starring role he had with the Denver Broncos. "If he wants to come to Canada he would be in the same situation as the one he was in with New York," said Montreal general manager Jim Popp. "He can come here and compete to be the backup to Anthony Calvillo and learn the game, just like Jeff Garcia did (behind Doug Flutie)."

Wow. Such a loyal following of sheep. Even out of the country.

Nah. "Tebow Threads," not "NFL Threads."

I'm afraid that's going to continue for a while.

Lingerie League asked him to QB in the Lingerie League... Seriously.

That's just low.

Damn! It's almost true! I looked it up, and they offered him a job as QB coach (not QB.) To quote the article,

"Don???t laugh ??? those LFL quarterbacks deliver some devastating blows."

If Tebow decides to take his talents north of the border, he can pack light.

I've been to Montreal a number of times. If Timmy does not drop the chastity pledge there, then he never will. Definitely some of the worlds most beautiful women.

Tebow can't throw in any country.

What will "Tebow-ing" be called in Canada?

Tebow-ing-eh?

I really don't think he's good enough to be a CFL backup.

My sophomoric, infantile sense of humor is being stifled...

Tebow says he's working on his throwing mechanics. No better way to prove it than throwing the football in Canada. Others have proven themselves there. It's my opinion however he'd be better off switching positions. He has potential at Tight End.

After not making it in the NFL, Doug Flutie re-wrote the record books in Canada. Julain Edelman was a college quarterback before joining the Patriots, where he plays wide receiver, return guy, special teams and even a bit of defensive back. Who knows what will happen?

He's been working on those mechanics since Urban Meyer used him up.

I was in BC last fall and those Canadians love their football.Hit this bar in Richmond BC when a BC Lions game was on and they had the best fresh tapped Canadian beers, then then they brought out these big turkey roasting pots and a bunch of lobsters.Awesome.

Dole we don't care what you do on your vacation!

The thread is about Tebow! Keep up!!

I highly doubt he would go to Canada, everyone knows all the Christians live in the USA! ;-P

I love these people who put down Tebow because his love for GOD.Also they put him down because they feel that he is not a good QB,which he a very good QB.A lot of plays went to the CFL like Warren Moon and Flutie.People also put Flutie down beacuse he was not over 6 foot tall.People that put Tebow would also spit on the POPE.
