Bucks the next relo target

07:05 AM ET 04.30 | Fans in Sacramento seem to have picked up a significant offseason win, which leaves the possibility that another franchise might be scooped up and dropped in a new city. Chris Hansen's three-year effort to get the Kings to move to Seattle appears to be over. It would be surprising if league owners reject the recommendation of its own relocation committee and allow the Kings to move to Seattle. Hansen can hope for expansion, but that seems [unlikely]. Which means Hansen has to look elsewhere. And the Bucks? Michael McCann, a University of Vermont sports law professor and an on-air analyst for NBA TV, said in an email Monday night that the lack of a movement for a new arena in Milwaukee makes the Bucks a potential target for an out-of-town owner.

I think Relocation either needs to be banned all at once or all should go down in the style of Browns-Ravens in which the name, colors, logos, history, championship banners, retired numbers etc. be left behind in the original city and the owners can take the players, personell and staff and form a new team in another city. No city should have to lose their franchise because of greed. Expansion does not have to be guarenteed right away and other teams can use this method to revive franchises that were placed in suspended operations.

Move, don't move, whatever. If the team doesn't have a franchise caliber guy, the team is irrelevant

Well, the way the CBA is structured even the dumbest of owners will be raking in profits so I can't see any owner giving up his team at the moment.

If Indy ever has a bad season or two I am sure the Seatlle folks would love to have them. They just don't have fans supporting them like they should. If their tax payers weren't supporting that stadium I am sure they would look to move.

Maybe Howard could start his own franchise in Seattle. He could hire Tebow as PF and Farve as coach.

Bucks may be one target, but if it's just for want of a new arena, probably not the right team to move.

There are other teams that may consider moving that could be considered ahead of the Bucks.

The location can be a factor in attracting a quality player.

Move 'em to Seattle. Wisconsin is a cow state that only supports that team located in that village
