12:36 PM ET 04.30 | The Minnesota Vikings are set to unveil plans for their new stadium on May 13 at the Guthrie Theater in downtown Minneapolis. This season will be Minnesota's last playing at the Metrodome. The Vikings will play at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium, opened in 2009, in 2014 and '15, and if everything goes according to plan, the team will move into its new home for the 2016 season. The stadium is expected to cost $975 million and will seat 65,000 fans. The new stadium will be larger than the Metrodome, and it could have a retractable roof and windows -- although, those details haven't been set in stone yet.

It will have the capacity to seat 73,000 when necessary. Feel better, now?

Everyone..... from Minnesota tax payers, to out of state fans who buy merchandise from all the sports related activities (ie not just Viking games), to the Wilf family themselves. Seems fair to me.

Can't argue with you there. Blue eyed blonds are the sweetest! Skol Viking cheerleaders!

Half public, half private. It will be owned/governed by a public commission.

Yeah, but because I just got back from the bathroom though... Didn't have much to do with the Vikings other than the end result.

What will the commissioners make per year in salary?
