01:13 PM ET 04.30 | After being released by the Jets on Monday, Tim Tebow's NFL future is in doubt. However, it may be the attention he draws off the field and not his play on it which keeps him from landing with another NFL team. One NFL general manager went as far as calling Tebow "radioactive" because of the distraction his presence creates. According to the anonymous general manger, Tebow is not a good enough player and does not have enough potential for teams to justify signing him and putting up with the media attention and distraction that surrounds him.

So we can call him "Chernobyl" instead of "Tebowchrist" from now on?

Good but doesn't flow too well. How about Toxic Timmy?

John Elway thought he was terrible, but he kept winning, actually better than Peyton did. The jets never gave him a chance. Years ago the Bucs traded their left-handed quarterback because he wasn't a good passer, to the 49ers and drafted the ultimate pocket passer #1 overall I might add, that passers name was Vinny Testerverde, seven years later that clumsy left handed quarterback won the Super Bowl for the 49ers, imagine the Bucs traded Steve Young after only 2 seasons in the NFL, who was smarter the Niners or the Bucs? Tim Tebow outplayed Steve Young after his first 2 Years, think about it! You can't stop a winner, you can hold him back, but somehow he will beat you!!! You can't take away his accomplishments!!!

Dude.... Even Steve Young said Tebow sucks.

Tebownium-15 will be signed by the Springfield Isotopes.

I'd like to know who that GM is? Interesting that he made a statement that Tebow would bring too much attention to his franchise. Hmmmmmm. Isn't it the intention of EVERY NFL team to attract attention to their team so they sell tickets? I also wonder what this GM's record is for successful picks? Wonder if he's such a great evaluator of talent that he knows which one is going to make it and which one won't? As far as a distraction, Tebow has shown in the two years he's been in the NFL that he's a great teammate. Not sure what he means by radioactive unless he's happy flying under the radar and never trying to make the owners' franchise better.

It was probably Jerry Jones, who still thinks Romo is his savior.

Pretty much says it right there.....if he was a good player the media attention would work in a different way.

If he were Tebownium-235 or Tebownium-238, we could drop him on Iran.

We can still do that. Might get a similar result.

Note to Dan Snyder... KEEP YOUR HANDS **OFF** YOUR CHECKBOOK!!!

Perhaps this GM would prefer a pillar of society such as Terrell Owens? How's that for a distraction?

Some NFL quarterbacks take (and are given) years to develop. This kid has played what, eight game as a starter? And everyone is absolutely convinced that he can't play in the NFL. What if Pittsburgh had given up on Bradshaw after 8 games or Green Bay had given up on Favre? I'm not saying that I think he's he's either of those guys but how is anyone to really know if he's never given a chance?

Regardless of his religious convictions, his work ethic, his mechanical corrections or the status of his virginity, the dude cannot throw a football, and I don't think he is smart enough to compensate for his lack of skill in that area (if that's even possible). If he came to my house I would shake his hand and serve him a steak and a beer. He seems to be a decent guy, but he cannot play football on a professional level, not any professional level. Now he's just media fodder and sooner or later they will deal him a death blow. Leave him alone before he hangs himself from the Statue of Liberty or something that makes us all feel like crap for berating him.

We've being watching Tebow play for the last three years. Every time he played it was exciting and the team rose to the occasion and won. God will guide him and he will make the right decision when that time comes.

Scouts, stats and media????? Does this guy know how to WIN???? Isn't the game about WIN?

Will they sell tickets?

I don't believe that even Satan would have drafted him ...

Don't worry Zeppo. Even Little Danny realizes the Skins are set at QB.
