02:37 PM ET 05.01 | In the eyes of many, Roberto Luongo had played his final playoff game with the Vancouver Canucks last season. In fact, many believed he played his last game as a Canucks starter against the Edmonton Oilers on April 27. However, Luongo confirmed he will be the starting goaltender in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal against the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday night. Head coach Alain Vigneault stated Cory Schneider was not healthy enough to play in the game, despite the goaltender's insistence on Tuesday that he was. The decision to go with Luongo likely isn't performance based as he struggled in his last start, allowing seven goals on 37 shots.

Watch for his big move, the face first flop as puck goes above into the net, followed by shrug and crease cleaning with a little self conscious skate about....

Maybe both games will go OT and spare the rest of the country like they did last night.

If Lupongo gets the "Oilers Treatment" tonight, he'll be rushed to the hospital to be treated for third degree burns.
