06:55 AM ET 05.02 | After firing Mike Dunlap following a single year on the job, Charlotte is, again, in the market for a new head coach. [The Bobcats] will interview former Suns head coach Alvin Gentry next week for their vacant head coach job, according to league sources. The Bobcats will also interview longtime assistant coach Elston Turner, who was Gentry's assistant in Phoenix before Gentry was fired early this season. Gentry, a North Carolina native who played collegiately at Appalachian State, had expressed interest in the Bobcats' job last week. ... Turner hoped to be considered for the job after Gentry was fired, but he was passed over in favor of the Suns' player development coach, Lindsey Hunter.

Good luck w/ that. If you're really serious about getting better than hire the best coach. Don't hire a coach that has no credential.

For a coach- this job is basically a death sentance for your careerthere is no chance for success cause managemetn is clueless, and you are certain to be blamed - which reduces your chance of getting another job going forward.

Yes. Jordan needs to hire a new FO. And then get the coaches and players. This franchise is going nowhere.
