07:03 AM ET 05.02 | Among a group that includes this list of too-early preseason All-American candidates Marcus Smart (Oklahoma State), Russ Smith (Louisville), Doug McDermott (Creighton) and Adreian Payne (Michigan State), a young man who hasn't yet made his college decision, Andrew Wiggins, may lead the pack. Simply put, Wiggins is arguably the best prospect that we've seen come through the high school ranks since LeBron James. He's a skilled, 6-foot-7 wing that can score in any number of ways and is athletic enough to get his head to the rim. It doesn't matter if he plays for Kentucky, Florida State or Grambling, he'll likely end up being the Preseason National Player of the Year.

If Wiggins has the grades and scores, he should come to Tennessee and eclipse Bernard King's legacy.

the young man needs to make up his mind and sign or go to the nba and prove he is not ready to be compared to anyone on a pro roster....yet! especially Labron! he maybe a good player but he has yet to prove in major collegiate game .Much like Harrison Barnes (another player of the year lock befor he ever stepped in the Deandome) I have yet to see the motor or drive of the proven greats. I hope to see it in Chapel Hill as I am a tarheel born and bred but I also think basketball should always be played with passion and relentless effort as should everything you love and live and do . I enjoy watching teams that bring the effort night after night (and yes that includes Duke) Commit young man and give it your all wherever youdecide totake your talent
