07:06 AM ET 05.02 | Former Florida State quarterback Clint Trickett will take his talents to Morgantown, a move he called a "dream come true" -- hashtag #CountryRoads -- via Twitter. It might be a dream come true for Mountaineer coach Dana Holgorsen. See, neither Paul Millard nor Ford Childress exactly set Morgantown on fire this past spring as the search continues to replace QB Geno Smith. ... "Coach Holgorsen has the best offense in the country," Trickett said in a phone interview Wednesday. "I think they might need a leader and I'm hoping to be in the mix and compete." He'll definitely compete. In fact, after the recent spring games at WVU and Florida State, one should consider Trickett the odds-on-favorite to start this fall.

Trickett will be the starter. The kid can play some ball. Lest anyone forget, the ONLY reason Trickett was a back-up at FSU, is because the 2 guys that started ahead of him were each first-round NFL picks. He would have been a starter long ago at most other schools.
