07:15 PM ET 05.03 | The biggest issue for the Dallas Cowboys during the 2012 season was the play of the offensive line, and Jerry Jones has not been shy about addressing it this offseason. In addition to spending a first round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft on Wisconsin guard Travis Frederick, Jones is holding the current members of the Cowboys' offensive line accountable for their play. Jones has asked right tackle Doug Free to take a pay cut, according to ESPN Dallas. If Free refuses, the Cowboys plan to cut him after June 1.

He's not living up to his name.

Well played.

Dallas asked Free to take a voluntary pay cut several weeks ago, with the implication being he would be released if he decides to reject the pay cut.

The Cowboys would save somewhere in the neighborhood of seven million in cap space by cutting Free. It's just a matter of time, unless he takes a significant pay cut.

Dallas has all the leverage. They could cut Free and sign Clabo or Winston and still have a couple million in cap space. And there's not much league-wide interest in Free right now, so if he wants a job he'll accept the salary reduction.

Now there's a motivator....Jerrah - "Now you listen Doug, we like you an all but you're gonna have to take half the money you used to make. Oh and Doug, we need you to play better also. Ya got it? That's a good boy, Doug."
